Pygmalion Book Cover

A reverse take on the linguists’ approach in creating a high society lady from a flower girl was explored for Shaw’s 1913 cover for “Pygmalion”. Through the decomposing of history’s renowned beauties, from classic paintings, sculptures, and photographs, a coarse, common woman is found.
